The Oswego County Association of the Deaf was founded in 1988 with few members. The first requirement was to be a resident of Oswego County.  The club grew to about 30 members now. The club is still going strong and celebrated 20 years in 2009. The organization focus on unity, teamwork and family. IBA and Clambake is well known to be hosted by the OCAD for past 20 years now.
